Position: Digital Marketing Officer

SUMMARY

The Digital Marketing Officer is responsible for anchoring the digital marketing activities and online customer service of FINCA Uganda while growing FINCA’s brand influence locally, increasing brand loyalty and awareness.  She/He will be responsible for planning, implementing and monitoring FINCA Uganda’s digital marketing campaigns across all digital networks

Key duties and responsibilities:

  1. Designing and overseeing all aspects of digital marketing i.e the marketing database, email and display of advertising campaigns
  2. Managing FINCA Uganda’s website
  3. Managing online digital lead generations
  4. Planning and managing FINCA Uganda’s Social Media Platforms
  5. Developing integrating and manage bank Chatbots
  6. Developing and managing online strategic partnerships
  7. Developing and managing digital marketing campaigns
  8. Optimizing content for the website and social networking channels such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, WhatsApp, etc
  9. Tracking the website traffic flow and providing internal reports regularly
  10. Attending networking events and product launches.
  11. Identifying new digital marketing trends and ensuring that the brand is in front of the industry developments.
  12. Working on SEO of the website pages.
  13. Editing and posting videos, podcasts, and audio contents on online sites.
  14. Promoting company’s product and services in the digital space.
  15. Executing social media efforts to improve KPIs, likes, shares, tweets, etc.
  16. Creating and executing SMS, and email-based marketing campaigns.

  9. Understanding the changing marketing trends online and offline

Qualifications and Experience

A Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communication, Business Administration and proven experience in digital marketing.

2 year’s work experience in a similar role within a Financial/Banking sector
