FINCA Uganda has today signed a partnership with aBi Trust to promote the access of Renewable Energy among the population as an initiative to widen the use of cheaper and cleaner energy especially in the rural areas of Uganda. While signing the MOU, FINCA Uganda’s Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Julius Omoding remarked; “These funds will go a long way to help us invest in our staff who are our greatest resource especially with regard to training and sensitization so they can embrace the micro-energy product and be able to sell it to our customers.” He added that;

“FINCA Uganda is indeed committed to achieving the expected results of this partnership by adopting a multiplicity of approaches and strategies such as establishing a good distribution network of entrepreneurs and agents who will make the product available to the end-user hence improving their standards of living, which is our ultimate mission. In conclusion, Mr. Omoding thanked aBi Trust for being a good and trusted partner with whom FINCA will be able to make a long lasting impact in the lives of the rural Ugandans through access to affordable renewable energy hence improving their standards of living.
