Eva Balikowa is a seasoned banking professional with over 20 years’ experience in strategic business development, change management, financial analysis, business banking and product development. She served as Head of Retail Banking Group at GTBANK Uganda Limited, where she was responsible for developing and maintaining a portfolio of deposits and revenue generation for the entire retail market segment. Prior to that, she was Head of Institutional Banking and Retail at NC Bank Uganda Limited. Her extensive career also includes a tenure as Senior Local Account Manager International Organizations and Financial Institutions at Ecobank Uganda Limited, Head of Public Sector and various branch manager roles at Ecobank Uganda Limited and Barclays Bank Uganda Limited.
At FINCA Uganda, Eva is responsible for the growth strategy and its development while guiding market research and identifying new corporate business opportunities. Her role also encompasses strategic planning and execution of commercial strategies by driving customer growth and deepening relationships with existing customers. She will be instrumental in shaping customer experience, identifying and retaining talent.
She holds a Master of Arts degree in International Relations and Diplomatic Studies and a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication specializing in Public Relations, both from Makerere University.
Eva joined FINCA Uganda in June 2025 and is passionate about driving commercial success through innovative strategies.
