FINCA Uganda (MDI) and Bright Life Uganda, a solar company, have donated one million three hundred thousand masks worth approximately GBP 120,000 to the Ministry of Education and Sports to ease on the opening of schools in the country. This was at a function officiated by the First Lady and Minister of Education Honorable Janet Kataaha Museveni at the Kololo Independence grounds.

Our mission is to alleviate poverty through lasting solutions that help people build assets, create jobs and raise their standard of living.

FINCA Uganda in partnership with M-Changa a Kenyan based peer to peer fundraising site, have introduced a fundraising drive geared at supporting Ugandans who have been negatively affected by the COVID pandemic with far reaching consequences in the community.

We have partnered with Mchanga to solicit donations for some of our clients who were affected by some of the measures put in place to curb the spread of COVID19. We hope that this will help these clients get their businesses off their knees. These businesses are their lifeline and its where they get the income to make necessary payments to sustain their families with their basic needs.

We long to serve our customers with warmth, trust and responsible banking and in so doing, we wish to request our clients to stop giving cash to our staff to bank it for them.

The customer Experience week (CXWeek) kicked off on Tuesday 1st October 2019 with an awesome #CXWeek_Breakfast_launch driven by the desire for FINCA Uganda to serve their customers more excellently and with love.
