    A Refugee ID and Letter of Attestation issued by the Office of the Prime Minister are mandatory.

  • CRB Enrollment
    Obtain a Credit Reference Bureau (CRB) Enrollment record report.

  • Collateral Requirement
    Collateral, such as chattels, must be provided as a security measure.

  • Compulsory Savings
    Allocate a compulsory savings amounting to 15% of the loan amount. This savings should be deposited in advance into the account.

  • Income/Business Demonstration
    Demonstrate the existence of reliable sources of income or business activities.

To secure a Refugee Loan, we require compulsory savings of at least 15% of the loan amount to be held in the account before disbursement. Chattels are also accepted as collateral.

Absolutely! For non-citizens, a Refugee Registration/ID card and a copy of the family attestation are required. These documents should be filed as authentic documents with the Office of the Prime Minister PM-Refugee Department in Uganda. Your eligibility is not hindered by the absence of a National ID.
